Do I need any previous knowledge of Italian?
Not at all! Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some experience, lessons are tailored to your ability, interests and personal goals. I'll help you progress at a pace that suits you.
Are lessons available online or in person?
Both. Online lessons are available wherever you are in the UK or abroad, and in-person tuition is available in the Manchester area. Home visits may involve an additional travel charge.
How long is a lesson?
Standard individual lessons last 60 minutes. We can discuss a suitable schedule during your introductory consultation.
Can I arrange a free introductory consultation?
Yes. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation so we can meet, discuss your goals and see how I can help. This is an introductory conversation rather than a free teaching session, and there's no obligation to book further lessons.
How much do lessons cost?
Individual Italian lessons cost £35 per hour, or £150 for a five-hour package. English pronunciation coaching costs £45 per hour, or £200 for five lessons. Home visits carry an additional £5 local travel charge, with any further mileage agreed beforehand.
How do I book my first lesson?
You can request an appointment through the website or contact me directly. I'll confirm the arrangements with you personally. Please note that submitting an appointment request does not automatically confirm a booking.
What happens if I need to cancel or rearrange a lesson?
I understand that plans sometimes change. Please contact me as soon as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson. Full payment and cancellation terms will be provided when booking.
Do you provide learning materials?
Yes. I use my own structured Italian teaching materials, adapted to your level and learning needs. We can discuss any additional resources that might be helpful.
How regularly should I have lessons?
That depends on your goals, availability and how much time you can devote to practising between lessons. We can discuss a suitable schedule during your introductory consultation.
